ইসলামী আন্দোলন বাংলাদেশ ডেমরা থানার ৬৯ নম্বর ওয়ার্ডের সভাপতি আলহাজ মিজানুর রহমানকে গ্রেফতারের অভিযোগ উঠেছে।
শনিবার (১৮ নভেম্বর) দুপুরে সারুলিয়া বাজার থেকে প্রশাসনের লোক পরিচয়ে একটি মাইক্রোবাসে করে তাকে উঠিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় বলে জানিয়েছেন ঢাকা দক্ষিণ সিটির ৬৭ নং ওয়ার্ড কাউন্সিলর ও ইসলামী আন্দোলনের নেতা হাজী মোঃ ইবরাহীম খলীল।
অবৈধ একতরফা ঘোষিত তফসিল বাতিলের দাবিতে চলমান এই আন্দোলনে এবারই প্রথম ইসলামী আন্দোলন বাংলাদেশের নেতাকে গ্রেফতার করার ঘটনা ঘটেছে। ইসলামি আন্দোলন করার অপরাধে খুব অন্যায়ভাবে তাকে এই গ্রেফতার করা হয়েছে।
তিনি আরও বলেন, ‘এর আগেও মিজানুর রহমানকে আটক করা হয়েছিল। এবার তাকে কারা আটক করেছে তা আমরা এখনও নিশ্চিত না। একটি মাইক্রোতে করে তাকে উঠিয়ে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয়েছে, কিন্তু তারা আসলে কারা তা আমাদের কাছে এখনো স্পষ্ট না।’
এদিকে দ্বাদশ জাতীয় সংসদ নির্বাচনের তফসিল ঘোষণার পর থেকেই ইসলামী আন্দোলন বাংলাদেশ তার বিরুদ্ধে রাজপথে সরব। শনিবার বিকেলেও বায়তুল মোকাররম উত্তর গেটে ইসলামী যুব আন্দোলন বাংলাদেশ ঢাকা মহানগর উত্তর ও দক্ষিণের আয়োজনে তাদের ভাষায় অবৈধ একতরফা ঘোষিত তফসিল বাতিলের দাবিতে বিক্ষোভ মিছিল করেছে।
