দৌলতদিয়া-পাটুরিয়া নৌপথে ঘন কুয়াশার কারণে প্রায় আড়াই ঘণ্টা বন্ধ থাকার পর ফেরি চলাচল শুরু হয়েছে। কুয়াশা কমে গেলে আজ সোমবার সকাল সোয়া ৮টার দিকে ফেরি চলাচল শুরু হয়। এর আগে সকাল ৬টার দিকে এ নৌপথে ফেরি চলাচল বন্ধ করে দেয় বিআইডব্লিউটিসি।
বাংলাদেশ অভ্যন্তরীণ নৌ-পরিবহন কর্পোরেশনের (বিআইডব্লিউটিসি) দৌলতদিয়া ঘাট শাখার ব্যবস্থাপক সালাউদ্দিন গণমাধ্যমকে জানান, কুয়াশা কমে যাওয়ায় সকাল সোয়া ৮টা থেকে ফেরি চলাচল শুরু হয়েছে। কিছু সময় ফেরি বন্ধ থাকলেও যানবাহনের কোনো সারি তৈরি হয়নি। বর্তমানে এ নৌপথে ছোট-বড় মিলিয়ে ১৩টি ফেরি চলাচল করছে।
