মামলার এজাহারে দেখা যায় গত ২ সেপ্টেম্বর’২৪ সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী শেখ হাসিনাকে প্রধান আসামি করে যাত্রাবাড়ী থানায় ৬৩ নং ওয়ার্ড শ্রমিক দলের আহ্বায়ক আবু বকর বাদী হয়ে মামলাটি করেন। মামলার ৮১নং আসামি হিসেবে কাউন্সিলর হাজী ইবরাহীম এর নামটি রয়েছে।

বিক্ষোভ সমাবেশে উপস্থিত ছাত্র জনতা তাদের বক্তব্যে বলেন, হাজী মোহাম্মদ ইবরাহীম বিগত ১৭ বছর বিরোধী দলীয় রাজনীতি করেও জনপ্রিয়তার কারণে দুইবার কাউন্সিলর নির্বাচিত হয়েছেন। তিনি সবসময় অন্যায়ের প্রতিবাদে সরব ছিলেন এবং সাধারণ মানুষের সুখে দুঃখে পাশে ছিলেন। বৈষম্য বিরোধী ছাত্র আন্দোলন চলাকালীন সময় তিনি সাইনবোর্ড থেকে যাত্রাবাড়ী এলাকায় নেতৃত্ব দিয়েছেন এবং সম্মুখ যোদ্ধার ভূমিকা পালন করেছেন। এই অঞ্চলের ছাত্র জনতাকে স্বৈরাচারের বিরুদ্ধে অব্যাহত লড়াই চালিয়ে যেতে সাহস যুগিয়েছেন। বিগত সময়ে তিনি কখনোই চাঁদাবাজ, লুটতরাজ ও দুর্বৃত্তদের ঠাই দেন নাই। তাই আগামী দিনে যারা ডেমরা যাত্রাবাড়ী অঞ্চলে ত্রাসের রাজত্ব কায়েমের স্বপ্ন দেখছে তারাই হাজী ইবরাহীমকে মামলা দিয়ে দুর্বল করে রাখার অপচেষ্টায় লিপ্ত হয়েছে। ছাত্র জনতা এই ষড়যন্ত্রকে মোকাবেলা করবে।

অনতিবিলম্বে এই মামলা প্রত্যাহার না করলে ডেমরা যাত্রাবাড়ীতে কঠোর আন্দোলন গড়ে তোলার হুঁশিয়ারি দেন বক্তারা

এ সময় যাত্রাবাড়ী থানার ওসিকে উদ্দেশ্য করে শিক্ষার্থীরা বলেন, যে কেউ মামলা করতে আসলেই যাচাই বা বাছাইবিহীন তালিকাসহ মামলা নেওয়া ফ্যাসিবাদী চরিত্রের‌ই বহিঃপ্রকাশ। স্বৈরাচার পতন হলেও পুলিশ বাহিনীর মধ্য থেকে এখনো স্বৈরাচারী আচরণের পরিবর্তন হয়নি। যাত্রাবাড়ী থানার ওসি মাইনুল সাহেব হয়তো পাঁচ আগস্টে যাত্রাবাড়ী থানার পরিস্থিতি ভুলে গিয়েছেন। নয়তো সাধারণ ও নিরীহ মানুষকে আসামি করে দেয়া মামলা তিনি কখনোই গ্রহণ করতেন না।

সমাবেশে বক্তারা বলেন, বিএনপি নেতাদের সাথে যোগসাজসে করা মিথ্যা মামলার পেছনে দূরভিসন্ধি রয়েছে কিনা তা ছাত্র-জনতা যাচাই করে দেখবে।

তারা আরো বলেন, আমরা স্বৈরাচার শেখ হাসিনাকে টেনে হিচড়ে নামিয়েছি। তারা হুঁশিয়ারী উচ্চারণ করে বলেন, প্রশাসনের কোন কর্মকর্তা যদি আবারো স্বৈরাচারী আচরণ শুরু করে তাহলে তাকেও আমরা টেনে হিঁচড়ে নামাতে দ্বিধা করবো না। দেশের আইন ও শৃঙ্খলা সমুন্নত রাতে আমরা কাজ করে যাব। কিন্তু কেউ যদি শান্তির শৃঙ্খলা নষ্ট করতে চায় তাহলে ডেমরা-যাত্রাবাড়ীর সাধারণ জনতা ঐক্যবদ্ধ গণ আন্দোলনের মাধ্যমে তাদেরকে প্রতিহত করবে।
