আল কাদির ট্রাস্ট দুর্নীতি মামলায় পাকিস্তানের সাবেক প্রধানমন্ত্রী ইমরান খানের বিরুদ্ধে রিমান্ড মঞ্জুর করেছে দেশটির বিশেষ একটি আদালত।
গতকাল শুক্রবার আদালত ইমরান খানকে জিজ্ঞাসাবাদের জন্য ১০ দিন রিমান্ড আবেদন করে জাতীয় জবাবদিহি ব্যুরো (এনএবি)। আদালত চার দিনের রিমান্ড মঞ্জুর করে। সেইসঙ্গে এই চার দিন তাকে এনএবি হেফাজতে রাখার নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়েছে।
অপর এক মামলায় দণ্ডিত ইমরান খান বর্তমানে রাওয়ালপিন্ডির আদিয়ালা কারাগারে আছেন। শুক্রবার সেখানেই ওই বিশেষ আদালতের শুনানি হয়।
আল কাদির ট্রাস্টের মাধ্যমে একটি শিক্ষাপ্রতিষ্ঠান নির্মাণে ইমরান ও তার স্ত্রী বুশরা বিবি এক আবাসন ব্যবসায়ীর থেকে কোটি কোটি রুপি মূল্যের জমি নেন বলে এনএবির অভিযোগ।
